Lets start this out by suggesting that the run up to this years Wrestlemania was the drizzling shits, I personally havent been able to watch a completet raw in months , although, I must admit to Paul Heymans promos being a sanity saver, sooner they go back to 2 hours the better.
The last image i saw from the last raw between the participants of the main event was a couple of five year olds having a tussle over one of their toys...I mean really, whose idea was it to have the Beast Incarnate having a tug of war over the world title strap.....Fark off....ridiculous.
2nd Annual Andre the Giant Memorial Battle Royal
WWE Tag Team Champions Tyson Kidd & Cesaro won the WWE Tag Team Title Fatal 4-Way Kickoff Match....about whati expected, glad they are giving Tyson and Cesaro a go again, those pointless jobs were getting on my nerves
on to the show
Firstly a weather report...the bloody sun was out till the main event came around.
The IC Title Ladder Match
Im amazed he was still walking the next night on RAW, Ziggler as usual did his bump-a-thon, maybe Ziggy should of took the whole thing because I thought Daniel Bryant was beyond IC Title land , but apparently not, cant see him having a long run, word is he is gonna have to have another neck surgery, I hope not, but thats the word.....as long as Boring Bloody Barrett dont get it back, YES I said boring, its been said that when a talent graps his character, they sky is the limit, well, Barrett doesnt have an anfinity with his gimmick, if he cant convince himself, he will never convince me...hopefully one of the NXT guys who get promoted will get the thing to have a run...digits crossed.
Randy Orton def. Seth Rollins
they actually had me thinking that the group was sick of Seths behaviour...so this match was gonna be good, both guys are over, they both have a machine and they can work their arse off and it was, a deadset cracker, multiple finisher attempts, kickouts and then...the GREATEST RKO EVER !!!...brilliant finish.
Triple H def. Sting
those Terminators would of looked great flashing their lasers in a slightly dimmer ambience...
ANYWAY, the match was pretty damn good, given the fact that Stinger is only a year younger than your faithful scribe, yep, his ferkin ancient, and of course the run-ins by DX and the nWo, and I use the term run very loosely, was the grouse, once agai the smarks whined about how they were all mates the night before at the HoF..get over yourselves you idiots, I actually thought Flair would put in an appearance given that Tripper shoved him down on RAW...
but nup, cant have everything...still, not sure about the rather respectful handshake at the end...cant be over already...can it?
AJ Lee & Paige def. The Bella Twins
the match was a decent enough hit out with AJ tying one of the twins up in that wicked submission of her's for the tap out win....turned out to be AJ last big show, she pulled the pin just the other day...cant imagine how hard it was for her being Punks wife, she had to be getting some form of ferkin crap chucked at her, its McMahonland..the joint specialises in it...ask Alberto or Rey.
U.S TITLE MATCH - John Cena def. Rusev
sure his now on tv issuing open challenges for the damn thing, lets hope one of the NXT guys get it off him and John turns evil in the process, f**k knows he needs to....cant say I agree with the Lana bumptwas a tad screwy if you ask me, the Russian superman shouldnt need stuff like that as part of his matches.
The Rock and UFC Women's Bantamweight Champion Rhonda Rousey confronted The Authority
Rock exits the ring after Steph called him all sorts, and just when you thought WHAT THE ?...The Peoples Actor took a left instead of going up the ramp and surprise suprise found The Four Horsewoman at ringside, he invited their leader and UFC Bantamweight Womens World Champ, "Rowdy" Rhonda Rousey to join in the peoples promo...they got back in the ring and Steph got all freindly with Rhonda, then she got just as knarky, so Rousey flipped Tripper over onto his arse and then barred Stephs arm, which she was still selling next night on RAW, nice one Steph, and the crowd POPPED...The Great One strikes again.
The Undertaker def. Bray Wyatt
they would of still been talking about it now, now I dunno what Deadman I expected, but the one that showed up was beyond phenomenal, he was in the best shape i'd seen him in since his return at WM 20 v Kane ...
Taker looked in awesome condition and worked like it too, all the Takers greatest hits were on display ..the rope walk, Hells gate, multiple tombstones and the famous sit up which was particularly brilliant cause Bray was doing the spider walk when the Deadman popped up...a vision for the ages.....yep, both men were giving it what for ..there is no doubt in my mind that Bray will now be the Taker like gimmick in the years to come...he done real good against the legenary Deadman.
BROCK LESNAR vs ROMAN REIGNS
WWE WORLD HEAVYWEIGHT CHAMPIONSHIP
I reckoned that Roman would come good under the bright lights and the bloke didnt disappoint...him and lesnar got stuck right in, Superman puches poured down, the Lesnar train pulled into Suplex city and Roman got tossed around like no ones business...
then Brock started raining crimson, I think it was a hard way cause he was stapled up the next night, but the Beast kept coming, even after Roman tangled him up between the ropes and layed a couple in ...
Brock and Roman were both taking a breather when Seth Rollins music hit, and the stadium popped, they knew what was coming, well, everyone but the ref, he looked like Seth was speaking f**king swahili or something...
anyway, Rollins got a couple of shots in and ended up curb stomping Roman for the three count...
The next night on raw, we got to see Brock get really pissed and Seth smarm himself right out of the way...Brilliant
